Bruin's Big Adventure is the story of Bruin the Bear, his journey through Perthshire and his search for his pal, Wee Bru, and for breakfast. After all, he had been hibernating for 99 days. On the road (and river), he has doubts and fears, all the while meeting friendly and magical talking critters, and taking in Perthshire's places of interest. Eventually, after 'just putting one paw after another', he reaches the city of Perth. The book is a complement to Bear's Big Adventure Trail, a large-scale public art project, and is sold to support the work of Tayside YMCA. |
